. The race was close, but Clothes Horse on the corner of Broadway and Spring Street emerged the winner in this year's Saratoga Springs
downtown Business Association's window decoration contest. The contest, featured the window displays of 22 downtown businesses is in its second year and serves as a
build-up to the Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course..
Throughout this exciting summer season we were featured in several  newscasts on WRGB channel 6. Our
award winning Traver's Stakes window showed fashions of today along a theme of "A Century of Racing". News coverage the evening of the event showed our window and storefront along
with the other creative entrys from the Broadway shops who participated. Earlier in the month MaryBeth Wenger interviewed our owner Lisa Schroeder on preparing for a busy tourist season while
the camera man panned our shop and got a shot of our window designer Montra Kearney in action. There was no doubt that Clothes Horse was the fashion leader in Downtown Saratoga Springs this summer!
